Ms. Yang is a registered Clinical Counsellor/ Therapist. She completed her education and clinical training from the University of Windsor, Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto and George Brown College. She has training and experience in a number of psychotherapy approaches including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

Grace Yu came to Canada for further study in 2001, during which she actively participated in various student clubs and community activities. Years of experience in student activities have made her realize that overseas students would encounter various life and learning problems in their study abroad. They need the help of professionals to help them overcome the difficulties and obstacles in their study abroad. Therefore she devoted herself to the education cause and established Elite Alliance Services Inc.. She has committed herself to building a reliable education brand for international citizens as well as building a overseas home for international students. Over the years, under the leadership of Grace Yu, EAS has focused on providing all-round professional services for overseas students and developing students’ all-round abilities, so as to help them to pursue high-quality study abroad and cultivate greatest potential of them.  Up to now, Elite Alliance Services Inc. has set up several branches in Hamilton, Montreal, China and Vietnam, and established a good and stable cooperative relationship with more than 100 education institutions in Canada. While developing the international student services, Grace Yu has always actively participated in and supported community activities. On one hand, she hopes to inspire more international students to come to the local community to adapt to the life in Canada and establish community service awareness as soon as possible. On the other hand, she wants to give back to the community and contribute to community development and Sino-Canadian cultural exchanges.
